  6. Brenda, I have a question. How do you achieve that matt surface on your sculptures? I am working on some decorative pieces that I don't want to glaze with my glossy glaze. Is there a glaze that I can use that achieves that look? Thanks for sharing.

  7. Hi Brenda,

I just wanted to ask how do you achieve that matt non glossy look on your sculptures? I am working on some pieces that I don't want them to have the glossy look and I was wondering what type of glaze do you use or recommend. Any leads would help.

    Thanks

  8. I don't glaze them at all. I used underglazes and then bisque fire and then a wash of black and fire again. I've tried waxing them and scraped that idea. I do glaze the interiors so that they can be used for food if someone chooses to use them in that way (my daughter uses hers for dog treats!). Hope that helps! Like you, I'd love to find a lovely matte or satiny glaze one day.
